Easter was yesterday and it was a nice day spent with family. Holidays are always bittersweet as I remember and miss so very much my Mom and Dad. It is nice that I have sisters to share memories with. I went to Easter Mass at the church they so loved and use to belong to. I always feel comfort in going to places we shared. The Church was decorated in beautiful Easter flowers and a wonderful choir sang to us. I brought Paska bread, kiffles and nut roll made by the talented bakers at the church to share with my sisters and their family for Easter dinner.
Today we celebrate the Earth as we should do every day. Every Season has its own beauty. The Spring is awakening in blossoms and flowers and my mornings are alive with the birds all singing away.
I am painting some small canvases of birds and flowers for my upcoming summer shows.
