Kutztown Folk Festival is virtual!

It is with great disappointment that the 71st Annual Kutztown Folk Festival has been canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This was a very difficult decision and was made to ensure the safety of the artisans and our visitors.
I will greatly miss being at the show.  For me it is a highpoint of my Summer.  I see so many of my very favorite collectors of my art and enjoy my fellow artisans.  I will miss demonstrating my art and talking in person with you.
The Kutztown Folk Festival will be a virtual event this year.  There will be lots to see online including the famous Quilt Auction.  I have never seen the auction as I am busy at my booth.  I will be watching it this year on my computer.
I will be updating this blog to keep you informed of events the week of June 27- July 5, 2020.

Please let me know of any questions you have in my comment section.
Stay Well, Stay Safe.  I look forward to seeing you in person at the Festival on June 26-July 4, 2021.

Almost Memorial Weekend!

My Summer show schedule is still being decided due to many cancellations  from the Coronavirus Pandemic. I have had several shows cancel for July, August and even in October and November.  I will update my website at when I have shows scheduled.

I hope you stay well and safe.  Enjoy the warmer weather and being outside.  I try to walk every day and enjoy the blossoms on the trees, including my beautiful dogwoods in my yard.  In a Park close to my home are beautiful Cherry Blossoms!

I am in my studio painting every day.  Right now I am working on blossoms and birds!

I hope to begin sketching ideas for Summer Beach scenes that were inspired by my October 2019 vacation in Ocean City, New Jersey.

Enjoy Memorial weekend!!

Spring is here!

Spring has arrived with beautiful blossoms on the trees.  I enjoy getting inspired on my daily walk.  I am going to be painting cherry blossoms next.
I am just now finishing an Easter painting complete with bunnies, tulips, a barn and old truck.
A lot of my shows have been cancelled due to the Corona Virus Pandemic.
It has been a very difficult time for everyone.  I am grateful and thankful for all the wonderful "helpers" out there.
Sharing some Spring photos with you to bring some cheer and beauty to your day.

Spring is almost here!

I can not believe how the winter has flown by!!  We had such a mild winter here in Pennsylvania this year!!  No snow to shovel!  I would have liked to see some, but Spring is almost here.
I have been painting in my studio every day.  I am working on my annual Easter painting and enjoying the theme of Easter eggs, bunnies, tulips and an old truck filled with tulips!
I am also getting ready for my first show of 2020.  It is March 25-28, 2020 at the Double Tree Willow Valley Resort in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

Happy New year!

It is already mid January of the New Year 2020!

I have been in my studio working on new art and enjoying the winter landscape outside my window.

We started out the year with warm temperatures, but winter has finally caught up with us here in Pennsylvania.  We have some snow and it finally is cold.

I will be posting my new shows for 2020 on my website very soon.

Enjoy Winter!
