Summer is in full swing. I love the warm, sunny days and find myself outside in the sunshine whenever possible! I just finished my favorite summer show the Kutztown Folk Festival held here in Kutztown, Pennsylvania. It is a great show with beautiful arts and crafts, all my favorite Pennsylvania Dutch foods, and a barn of stunning quilts. The show lasts nine days and we were fortunate to have good weather this year. The usual heat and humidity but it is summer after all. Much prefered to the cold of winter.
I am busy getting ready for my show in Hershey, PA that begins on July 28. Cutting lots of fabric and loving my new Autumn collection.

- I have created this blog to share with the collectors of my art what goes in to creating my paintings. As you know almost every watercolor painting includes a quilt. I like to say that I "quilt with my paintbrush." Here I will share photos of quilts I see at all the quilt shows I exhibit at around the country. I will also include what I see in my travels and wanderings and anything that brings me inspiration along the way. I want to share my story with you. I am so happy and blessed to have so many that collect my work. The joy you bring me by all your wonderful comments on my art keeps me painting and looking forward to my next inspiration. I have been fortunate to view many beautiful quilts.
