Happy Fall!

Yes, Summer flew by so fast that I could not catch my breath!  Suddenly it was Halloween and soon will be Thanksgiving followed by the Christmas Season.  I am trying to enjoy my very favorite time of year.  I have had several wonderful Autumn shows where I met and talked with so many of my collectors of my art.  I am truly Thankful for all of you by your beautiful comments and purchases.

I did get to have a week off at the shore of Ocean City, New Jersey.  Truly inspirational with walks on the beach and boardwalk.  I even had a fox sit next to me on the beach.  I was so surprised, and I suppose he knows how much I love foxes.  Foxes play often in the woods behind my studio and have become frequent paintings.  I love seeing them the most in the snow!  I will be sending one for you to see in my December blog.  A fun Christmas fox.  Until then enjoy this beautiful season of color and Thanksgiving!!

Enjoy some of my photos from this year.

Summertime!

It is Summer here in Pennsylvania with lots of heat and humidity.  I just finished my very favorite show of Summer, the Kutztown Folk Festival.  I had a wonderful show and enjoyed greeting the many collectors of my art, so very much.  While at my booth I completed the 2024 Kutztown painting that featured a hex sign quilt and a red barn in a field of brown-eyed Susan flowers.

I had so much fun with this painting and will have it in print for the 2025 Kutztown Folk Festival.

I am starting my Autumn painting this week in my studio.  I hope the heat cooperates and cool breezes will greet me in the open windows of my studio.

Have a wonderful Summer!  Enjoy, vacations, swimming and all the joys of warm, sunny days!

Already in to 2024!!

My last post was at Christmas!  I must admit I was surprised that so much time had gone by since I last posted on my blog.

It seems time goes way too fast these days.  I keep so busy in my studio with new paintings and ideas.  In February I celebrated another Birthday!  So grateful for each Birthday celebrated.

All my ideas are in process.  I have been enamored with foxes and am painting a series.  I also hope to have more paintings featuring quilts.

Already time to tell you Welcome to Spring!

I hope you have had a wonderful Winter of creating!

Merry Christmas 2023!!

I cannot believe it is almost Christmas.  The season went by much too fast! I am just now getting sketches together for my Winter paintings!  I enjoyed so very much my Thanksgiving and Christmas shows and now is my creative time.  My favorite season is the cold and quiet of Winter.

I wish for you a very Merry Christmas and the Blessings and happiness of New Year 2024!

Summer is Over!

This Summer went by so fast for me!  I can't believe that in a few days Autumn will be here!  I see mums, pumpkins and pumpkin flavored everything including my morning cup of coffee.

This is my favorite season, and I am sketching an Autumn scene to be painted in my studio.

Enjoy this beautiful season of pumpkins, color of leaves in rich reds, yellows and oranges!

Summer!!

I just finished two of my biggest shows of summer, the Kutztown Folk Festival and the NE Ohio Quilt show.  I enjoyed both shows so very much!  I am planning on painting in my studio in August and having some time to enjoy summer.  My next shows start in September.

I am getting ready to print some new Christmas card designs and new card packs.

I hope you are enjoying the warm, sunny, thunderstorms of summer!

Happy Summer!
